Finding the Answers You Need

There may be lots of questions that occur to you after you’ve moved in and the orientation staff disappears. There is help available for you, but you have to know where to go to ask!

If you have questions abut your financial aid or you’re wondering why your account is showing a big balance due, stop by the financial aid office or the bursar’s office. Some colleges also have a special office for student accounts.

Running out of clean underwear? Time to discover the art of doing laundry. You can ask a resident assistant or house mom for tips—but expect to do the work yourself!

Vegetarian students might have trouble finding food they can enjoy. Here’s a big tip: be really nice to the cafeteria staff. They know where all the good stuff can be found!

Every college has an office of Student Affairs (or similar name). If you’re really stuck with a question you can always check there.
